Training: Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Training for 4R Facility Operators

Any person handling a hazardous waste in Manitoba must be trained.  Training includes:

This course will cover these requirements with a focus on hazardous wastes typically handled at 4R Recycling Facilities in Manitoba.

Material Packing Demonstration Workshop for 4R Facility Operators

Participants will travel by bus to take part in this workshop. It will be held at Secure Energy/Tervita facility and will include hands-on demonstration on how to pack various material – lead acid batteries, electronics, HHW, Used Oil Products.  Key program experts will be on hand to demonstrate how to properly pack the various types and classes of material using approved means of containment.
