MARR Training Portal

MARR is pleased to provide this Training Portal as a central hub to facilitate quick access to currently available training and information resources that are particularly relevant and important to Manitoba workers in recycling and waste management jobs.

The initial development of the MARR Training Portal has been produced with funding support through the Manitoba Next Level Collaboration Fund and in collaboration with the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association, Manitoba Construction Sector Council, Manitoba Trucking Association and Supply Chain Manitoba.

MARR’s long term goal is to continue to develop and add relevant information to this Training Portal in industry efforts to address existing gaps and continually improve training and capacity building opportunities for Manitoba’s recycling and waste management sector.

In its current version, the MARR Training Portal is organized into three main sections. Click on the button below to jump to the section you’re most interested in.

Section 1

Core training and information for ALL WORKERS and TECHNICIANS actively involved in handling (collecting, staging, shipping) waste materials at operational waste disposal, waste transfer, recycling/diversion sites.

Section 2

Core training and information for SUPERVISORS, MANAGERS (or individuals in similarly titled roles) who oversee workers at operational waste disposal, waste transfer, recycling/diversion sites.

Section 3

Additional training and information for workers and supervisors/managers involved in completing specific recycling and/or waste management tasks and activities.
